Paul Dennis West Sr.

Paul Dennis West Sr. passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 at the age of 67. He was the father of Paul West Jr. (Sheree), Patrick West Sr. (Shannon), and Ryan West Sr. (Angel). Grandfather of Jacob West (Kaitlyn), Alyssa West, Kacie West, Ryan West Jr., Christopher West, Brandon West, and Emily West, as well as the late Patrick “P.J.” West. Great grandfather of Brooklynn West and Aiden West. Son of the late Joseph August West and Anne Mae Suthers West. Preceded in death by brothers David West and Richard West, Sr., sister Diana West and niece Lurrel West. Also survived by numerous nephews: Christopher West, Darren Dubrel, Edward Dubrel, Steven Barber, Richard West Jr. and John West. He was a soft spoken, private man, but had an incredible sense of humor. He was athletic, liked music, and loved to fish. He retired from New Orleans Airport, where he worked in the general aviation terminal. Though he had a number of struggles, he was determined to restore relationships with his family, which he did. Over the last few years, he became very involved with First Baptist Church of Harahan.

A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Harahan, 270 Oak Ave, on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM at the church. Inurnment will be private. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
