To the Johnny Harris Family,
We will hold the memories of Mr. Johnny close.  He used to wave at Megan Grace from the back windows of the First Baptist Luling sanctuary as an usher.  We would hear her  giggling then  shyly wave back at him.
We look forward to seeing him and Ms. Morene in heaven.

I just learned of Mr. Johnny's passing. We have such great memories of him from all the years of softball and all the years after. I really miss his visits to "Audrey's Bank". The entire family is in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you the strength to get through this difficult time. He is at peace and at home with Mrs. Morene. Love, Audrey Raziano

We enjoyed so much getting to know Johnny at the wedding of our daughter Anne to Dane Lorio.  He was a very humble man and so happy to be a lessons reader at the wedding.  His passing will be noted and he will be missed by everyone who met him. Our prayers are with his extended family.

I didn't meet Johnny and Morene until I started working for Dr. Brannen.  They were such kind and gracious folks.  Their faith in God, love for each other, and absolute joy about their children and grandchildren was special to hear about.  I am glad they are reunited once again.  God bless you all.

Growing up on Talbot Drive we kids were all like family. Uncle Johnny as we called him had this loud distinctive whistle. When it was time for the girls to head home, he whistled and called there names, Susan Kay, Virginia Lynn....... The thoughts and prayers of my entire family go out to Susan and Ginny at this time. With much love and affection from the RUIZ family.

We will always remember Johnny as a wonderful person and an excellent neighbor.  He will be missed.  Our sincere condolences to his family.

Mr.Johnny, Double Trouble as my girls knew him, was one of my favorite senior adults at FBCLuling.  He always spoke, laughed, and help in any way that he could.  I know that he is in Heaven catching up with Ms.Morene.  I will be praying for the rest of the family as they learn to live on this earth without their father ,grandfather, great grandfather, and great friend.  Love ya, Mr.Johnny!!

I certainly have fond memories of visiting Luling three times on trips from Little Rock.  Twice we went to the Sugar Bowl on those trips and it was great to have Johnny as an Arkansas fan living in Louisiana.  Susan and Ginny, You had a great set of parents and your loss is much in our thoughts here in Little Rock. I wish it were possible to attend the service.   Jerry Senn

Dear family,

I have many fond memories of times spent with Johnny during my time as pastor at First Luling. Johnny was the kind of guy you loved having in your church. He may or may not agree with you, but you never had to guess where he stood.

I also had several white perch fishing trips with him where we tried to find the big ones he called "saddle blankets" in Lake Des Allemands. He also helped me fix things around my house. Always a serving hand and heart. Praying for you all in these days.
