Irene Perrin Belsome

Irene Perrin Belsome went home to meet the Lord on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the age of 93. Irene was born November 28, 1928 to the late Agnes and Wagner Perrin. She was married to the late James Belsome, Sr. for over 50 years before he passed away in 2002. Devoted mother of Kathleen Adams (the late Butch), the late James Belsome Jr. (Adele), and the late Sandra Esteve (Terry). Grandmaw of Angie Autin (Randy), Nick Adams (Courtney), James Belsome III (Misti), Michael Belsome, the late Bozie Agoff, and Liz Caro (Chad). Great Grandmother of Megan Williams (Justin), Brandon Agoff, Brandi Hebert (Jordan), Hailey Agoff, Emily Caro, and others who she held a place in her heart. Irene was also a special Grandmaw to Abigail and Cullen Ducote. She is also survived by a host of great great grandchildren. Sister of Betty Couevas and the late Yvonne Creppel, Agnes Campbell, Pete Perrin, Della Cantrelle, Huey Perrin, and Madeline "Tootsie" Gisclair. Irene is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who are left to cherish her memory.

A funeral Mass will be held at 12:30PM on Monday, May 2nd, 2022 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home at 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:30AM and continue until the Mass time. Interment will follow at St. Pius X Cemetery in Crown Point, Louisiana.
