Frank Frankie Salvador Romano Sr.

Frank ”Frankie” Salvador Romano, Sr., entered peacefully into heaven on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at his home in Harvey. He is survived by his devoted wife Lynn Rome Romano of 52 years. A loving father of Mary Helen Romano, Elizabeth Lynn Romano Strohmeyer (Raymond Jr.), Frank Salvador Romano, Jr. (Gwendolyn) and Lillie Elizabeth Romano Fahrenholt (Michael, Jr.). A proud grandfather of Samuel Paul Romano, Margaret Ann Romano, Katharine Colleen Fahrenholt, Abigail Elizabeth Strohmeyer, Elizabeth Ann Romano and Ashton Joshua Strohmeyer. Son of the late Rosalie Palermo Romano and Sam Romano. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Joseph Romano, James Romano, Lena Romano Terrabonne and Josephine Romano Chellaire. He is also survived by his sister-in-law; Shirley Romano, his furry friends; Tinker, Tucksie, Big Yellow, numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him as well.

Age 73, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Marrero and Harvey, Louisiana.

“Frankie” worked in the Insurance Industry and later was employed by Lamarque Ford in Kenner for 10 years. He loved his sports, Saints and LSU, listing to WWL Talk Radio, loved his job, meeting new people and spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Heart of Hospice, Dexter and Phil for their compassionate care of Mr. Frank.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Infant Jesus of Prague, 700 Maple Ave., Harvey, Louisiana on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 12:00 PM. Visitation from 10:00 am until Mass time.
