Eva Morales

Eva Martinez de Morales is survived by her daughters: Lilia Guzman (Jose), Isabel Gonzalez (Esteban), and Barbara Soto (Ernesto). Her grandchildren: Esteban Gonzalez (Alicia), Naomi Dugar (Paul), Jessica Johnson (Keith), Jose Guzman (Van), Barbara DeWitt (Larry), Natalia Lappot (Maximo), and Alejandro Soto (Paris). Her great-grandchildren: Isabella, Esteban Jose, Luke, Anahí, Emilia, Levi, Olivia, Alina, Sebastian, Celine, Paloma, Robert, Ethan, Harrison, Giovanni, Tyler, Alyson, Samuel, and Paul Jr.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lorenzo Martinez, Virginia Gomez, her husband, Facundo Morales, and her 6 siblings.

Originally from Cuba, she migrated to the United States in pursuit of a better life. Eva was a devoted wife, mother of 3 daughters, grandmother of 7, and great-grandmother of 19. She worked diligently at the Court of Two Sisters and the Torino Belt Factory, where her craftsmanship and dedication were admired by all who knew her.

A funeral service to honor her life and legacy will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA 70072. Visitation beginning at 10:00 am and lasting through 11:00 am. Following the visitation, services will be held.
