Elva Marie Braud Ronquille

Elva Marie Braud Ronquille of Waggaman, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the age of 93. She was born in Chackbay, Louisiana to the late Morris Braud and Zelia Chiasson Braud. Elva was married to the late Ferdinand Chiasson and Vincent "Sonny" Ronquille before their passing. Loving mother of Larry Chiasson (Janet), the late Carol Chiasson (Marylou), the late Benny Chiasson, Joyce Chiasson, Nancy Collins (the late VJ), Dorothy Philips (Tom), Mary Stelly (Mike), the late Tommy Chiasson, Timmy Chiasson, and Ernest Chiasson (Rodney). Elva is survived by her caregivers Shane Collins (Gayle), Shantel Sonnier (Kirt), and Stacy Flagge (Jason). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, September 29th, 2023 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 6851 River Road in Waggaman, Louisiana. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:30AM until the Mass time. Interment will follow at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, Louisiana.
