Darlene Marie Fonseca Oubre

Darlene Marie Fonseca Oubre, of Westwego, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022 at the age of 66. Darlene was born in Raceland, Louisiana to the late Emanuel Joseph Fonseca (Shirley) and Laura Josephine Boudreaux Lombas (Dave). She was married to the late Gerald J. Oubre, Sr. and was the long-time time companion of Rimes "Junior" Laborde, Jr. for 26 years. Loving mother of her only daughter Rachele Oubre LeGlue (Troy). Proud Maw Maw of Lori M. Folse, Colin J. LeGlue, Carly E. LeGlue, and Hunter J. LeGlue. Sister of Lillian F. Rivero (Bruce), Christy Lombas Stewart (Dallas), Christopher Fonseca (LeAnn), Francis "Frank" Fonseca (Cheryl), Anthony Lombas (the late Judy), and the late Donald J. Fonseca (her twin), Dwight P. Fonseca, and Keith Lombas. Darlene is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who are left to cherish her memory.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 10:30AM and continue until the Mass time. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego, Louisiana.
