Claudia Richardson Williamson

Claudia Ann Richardson Williamson entered peacefully into heaven on Sunday, April 19, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnny Claude Williamson. She was a loving mother of Steven Williamson (Jenny Parfait) and Darren Williamson (Lynn Williamson). A proud grandmother of Cameron Williamson and Erynn Williamson, as well as step grandmother of Jacob Parfait, Linest Parfait, and Jiovanni Dahl. She was the daughter of the late Charles H. Richardson, Jr. and Antoinette Mary Salzer Richardson. Sister of Cathleen Richardson and the late Carol Montelaro. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A native of New Orleans, she was a long time resident of the West Bank, where she was an active parishioner of Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church, and was active in the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She was a 1963 graduate of St. Joseph High School. She worked for many years in the insurance industry.

Due to the current public health crisis, a private service will be held at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, with a Memorial Mass to be scheduled after this is over. Interment will be in Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
