Barry Christopher Stelly passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 at the age of 42. He was the son of Nita F. Grode and Donald Lee Stelly. Father of Maranda Rae Stelly and Christopher James Schexneyder. Fiancé of Angie Vidrine Smith, and soon to be step-father of Krysta Vidrine, Tristan Smith, and Vivienne Decoux. Brother of Daryl Lee Stelly, Gerald Anthony Stelly, Kevin Billiot, Courtney Hebert, Angel Roberts, Bridget Stelly, Jessica Stelly, and the late Keith Billiot. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was a well-respected local Bass Guitarist and Vocalist, who was in a number of bands, including Throttle, Destiny, Side Order of Freak, The Tricks Band, Voodoo Child, and Vertical Swerve. He was a giving and loveable person who will be deeply missed.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
