Anna Mae Marie Landeche Melancon

Her beloved husband, Yves P. “Buster” Melancon, preceded her in death. She is survived by daughter Monica Hardeman of Santa Fe, NM and sons: Randy Melancon, of Morgan City, Craig Melancon of Indianapolis, IN and Glenn Melancon and wife Jackie of Sherman, TX; two sisters: Lorraine Rodrigue and Rita Hymel; five brothers: Roy, George, Roger, Wesley, and Henry III Landeche; four grandchildren: Christopher, David II, Kara and Alexandre. She was preceded in death by parents: Henry J. and Pauline Lousteau Landeche; brothers: Claude, Alvin, Harold and Floyd Landeche; sister: Marie Louise Bourgeois and one son: David Melancon.

She fed the hungry, gave a home to people in need and cared for the sick. May she find rest in the place prepared by our Father since the beginning of time.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4401 Seventh St., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux.
