Born on September 24, 1929 in Lafitte, LA, resided in Marrero, LA, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2024 with her family by her side at the Marrero Healthcare Center.
Alice was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Blanchard and the loving mother of the late Gena B. Tisdale (Tim).
She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Eddie P. Touchard and Rena Plaisance Touchard; her sister the late Bernice Pizani Bernard and her only brother the late Hubert "Pete" Touchard Sr.
Alice is survived by two sisters, Elenora "Nora" Badeaux, and Annette "Netty" Pizani and also numerous nieces and nephews that cared for her in her later years.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
A Visitation will be held for Alice at Westside Leitz/Eagan Funeral Home on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 9:00 AM until a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM. Interment will proceed at Westlawn Cemetery. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be left for the Blanchard Family at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
