Larry W. Burnworth, 87 of Huntington, passed away on Friday evening December 8, 2023 at his residence. Larry was the owner / operator of Burnworth Auto Repair in Huntington for over 40 years. He was a 1954 graduate of Union Twp. High school. Larry had served in U.S. Army in the infantry during the Korean War, training troops in cannon artillery. He loved his motorcycles and was famous for his Christmas displays, having over a million lights.
Larry was born on March 10, 1936 in Huntington a son of the late Carl and Maro (Cheesman) Burnworth.
Survivors include a son: Michael (Carol) Burnworth of Valrico, FL; a daughter: Michelle Potter of Middleburg, FL; a sister: Joyce Kline Garrett of Huntington; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Tammy Marley.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Markle Cemetery, 476 W. Morse St., Markle, Indiana
