We will fondly remember the time with Bill.  Always enjoyed his company at our gatherings at Elaine's and all the restaurants we visited.  The last time out we met at Bahama Breeze and Bill was dressed in his Hawaiian shirt, we had a great time.  Our Prayers, Love and thoughts are with the entire Family.

I share my condolences to the family and friends of Bill Gaillard a wonderful man I have known for over 40 years. Knowing Cindy for many years I introduced Bill to my husband Bob because Bill was a former Marine and Bob was former Air Force. They had a lot in common and became lifelong friends calling each other "Bro" for brother. Bill was an exemplary husband, father, brother to his sister and friend to all that knew him. He was deeply rooted in faith and extended a helping hand to anyone in need.

I have many memorable memories to share. Every time we would move to a new home  Bob would call Bro and ask him to install or fix something. Unfortunately Bob was never a handyman. LOL! Bill always helped whenever he could out of love, a good meal together and a lot of laughs. He was very gifted with his talent for building or fixing anything.

We shared so many fun adventures together, boating, skiing on the bunny slope in Boone N.C, going to a 50's dance sock hop in full attire with local Atlanta radio personality Skinny Bobby Harper. Yearly our group of longtime extended friends would gather at local restaurants for Birthdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. Bill, being a professional photographer would take beautiful pictures to share with his  friends.

He never met a stranger, was always joyful and had a heart full of love. Upon leaving any event and after our goodbye hugs he would always say "love you and "Carry on bravely." I will never forget you and always love and miss you.

My sincere condolences to the Gaillard family.  Bill was a trustworthy, loyal friend to my wife, Betty and I since the late 1970's and we enjoyed many vacations, dinners and get-togethers over those years.  He  lived his life with total support for his family, religion and the Marine Corps.  A good man.  A proud Marine.
