Sandra Victoria Smith

Sandra Victoria Smith, age 81, of Smyrna, Georgia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Fondly known as Vickie, she was born in Durham County, North Carolina to Mary and Tyson Smith. She attended Westminster Schools in northwest Atlanta and then returned to North Carolina for completion of college. In 1975, Vickie began her career at Fulton County Department of Family and Children Services in the General Assistance program. She went on to transfer to Adult Protective Services in 1983. Vickie retired in 2010 after 35 years of service to Georgia's disabled and vulnerable adult population.

Proverbs 27:9 states "A sweet friendship refreshes the soul" and thankfully so, Vickie is survived by her dear friend, Margery Kellar, who extended kindness during Vickie's illness, taking care of and also making sure she was comfortable, along with having the best of medical care. In addition to her friend Margery, special thanks also to the Agape Hospice Care.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service has been scheduled at 3:00 pm, Friday, April 14th, to be held at the Woodland Ridge Assisted Living Facility, 4005 S. Cobb Drive in Smyrna.
