Mr. Rudolph (Rudy) Francis Carroll, 91, ( more affectionately known during his story telling times as, Moccasin Ben Dickerson Peter Fulgullian Johnson Headpeck Peter adcat Cat Aterferson Jones), passes away April 27th, 2015. He was a United States Navy Veteran, having served aboard the U.S.S. Reno during World War II. He had a very special mechanical ability. He spent his careeer as a Construction Superintendent, with the construction firm of Jordan, Jones, and Goulding Inc., specializing in large scale hospital buildings. He is preceeded in death by his beloved wife Mary Lee Carroll; his son, Tracey Stuart Carroll; 6 brothers; and 2 sisters. His survivors include; a son, Russell Wayne Carroll (Pamela); a daughter, Janice Wilkerson (Leon); sister, Dorothy Beaty; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 30th, 2015, from 10:00 until 12:00. A graveside service with U.S. Naval Honors, will be held at 1:30pm, Thursday, April 30th, 2015, in The Georgia National Veterans Cemetery, Canton, Georgia.
