Mrs. Opal Boyer Krezel, 91 of Sandy Springs passed away November 23, 2011. She was born to the late Albert and Ethel Conaway on February 14, 1920 in Chillicothe, Ohio. She had a wonderful career with the Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Customs. Opal was loved by everyone and never met a stranger, she often started conversations with people she had never met. She was a doting mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that loved to make everyone around her laugh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil William Boyer. She is survived by her son Dale Boyer and his wife Renate, grandchildren Sonja Lee and her husband Peter, Susie Boyer and William “Bill” Boyer, great-granddaughters Julia and Susanna Lee. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at 3:00pm in the chapel of H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will be on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 2:00pm at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens in Newport Richey, FL.
