Nancy S Roberts

Nancy Sun Roberts, 77, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on September 24, 2024, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born on June 1, 1947, in Incheon, South Korea, to Duk Chang Sun and Young Hee Yun.

Nancy was a devoted and proud mother, grandmother, and treasured friend whose love and compassion touched many in her community. A steadfast pillar of her church, she dedicated her life to serving others and nurturing the next generation. Known for her boundless generosity, resilience, tenacity, and candid spirit, Nancy left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her profound love for children shone brightly as she delighted in spoiling them and showering them with affection. Her legacy of kindness and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann Namkung; her son, Jimmy Namkung, and his wife, Angie; and five beloved grandchildren: Sydney Lee, Jonah Lee, Jackson Namkung, Jameson Namkung, and Kennedy Namkung. Nancy also leaves behind her cherished sisters, Kyung Sook Han, Kap Soon Kim, and Myung Soon Kim; her brother, Sang Yong Kim; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Nancy's life will be held on Saturday, September 28th, at 2:00 PM at Korean Covenant Presbyterian Church, located at 2100 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta, GA 30066. Friends and family are warmly invited to join in honoring her remarkable life.

Nancy will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved.
