Michael Andreas Engel

Mike was born on December 11, 1968 in Kaiserslautern, Germany. At the age of 11, he and his mother immigrated to the USA. Mike was a former student of McEachern High School.

He was preceded in death by his son, Eric Michael Engel, his father, Heinrich Engel, his step-father, Dr. Joseph G. Morrison, IV and all of his grandparents.

Survivors include his mother, Traudy Morrison, of Acworth, GA, his sister, Michelle Morrison, of Marshall, NC, his longtime friend, Joanna Bovee, her son, Kevin Bovee, both of Cumming, GA and several other family members and friends.

Mike was always a hard worker and tackled every new construction job with ease. In his spare time he loved apple picking, finding deals at Home Depot or Lowes, throwing the baseball with Kevin or playing a quick game of 1 on 1 basketball. Mike will always be remembered for lending a helping hand to his friends and neighbors and providing support when needed. Gone too soon, he will be greatly missed by many.
