Matthew Robert Marcus, 40, passed away in Acworth, Georgia on April 25, 2016. He was a great animal lover, loved music - he played the piano, drums, and guitar - and the outdoors, particularly swimming, snowboarding and skiing.
Matthew is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle Marcus; daughter, Giorgianna Elizabeth; parents, Bob and Janet Marcus; siblings Frank (Val), Donna (Buzz), Ken (Laura), and Jeff; in-laws, nieces and nephews, and a host of long-time friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 4, from 5-8pm at HM Patterson & Son - Canton Hill Chapel in Marietta. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00pm on Thursday May 5, 2016 at the Catholic Church of St. Ann, also in Marietta.
Should friends desire, contributions to St. Ann's Catholic Church or a favorite charity would be appreciated.
