Mrs. Martha Benson Williams Freeman, age 80 of Smyrna, passed away August 30, 2012. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Smyrna. Mrs. Freeman loved her family, helping anyone who needed it. She also loved ceramics.
Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her son David “Benny” Freeman. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Mr. P. H. Freeman; daughter Elaine Freeman Allen (Jim); grandsons Chad Benson Allen (Heather) and Joseph Bennett Freeman; granddaughters Danielle Brooke Freeman and Augusta Rae Preston; great-granddaughters Hollie Noelle Allen and Hannah Lane Allen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 at 12:00pm at the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Tyre officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012 from 6-8pm at the funeral home and then one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
