Marilyn, who was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Albert G. Lintel, Jr., was a mother of two sons, Albert G. Lintel III and Alan, and grandmother to Liz, Marilyn, and Kate. Her three granddaughters in particular absolutely adored her. Living the first half of her life in Syracuse, NY, Marilyn was heavily involved in charitable works with the Corinthian Club, dining with friends at the Onondaga Golf and Country Club, and hunting for exquisite antiques at estate sales in the city. With a keen, classic fashion sense also blessedly inherited by her three granddaughters, she owned a women’s clothing boutique, Wooley’s, in Syracuse for over a decade, often traveling to NYC for Fashion Week. Tired of a clientele who only wore neutral tones and a life of perpetual gray skies, she and Bert spent the second half of their lives in Atlanta, GA. A lifelong artist, she explored many skills, including painting and drawing, at which she was exceptionally talented. She is deeply missed but infinitely loved by her family.”
