Judith Ann Blackwell

Judith "Judy" Ann Blackwell, age 86, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Judy was born in 1937 to the late Gilbert and Helen Ball. She graduated from Campbell High School and attended Georgia State with a degree in Business Finance. She was employed by B & B Tool Company Inc.

In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, travel, church crafts, babysitting grandbabies. She was an active loving charter member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was involved in numerous ministries of the church. It has been said, that Judy and Neil were the first marriage to be held at the Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church during those early charter days of the church; being married 66 years as of May 3rd.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her beloved son, Greg Blackwell. Judy is survived by her husband Neil Blackwell; son, Mark D. Blackwell (Laura Muddiman); daughter-in-law (Greg) Monica Blackwell,4 grandchildren: Cheryl, Hannah, Raymond and Emily; eight great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held May 24th, 2:00 PM at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2922 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta, GA 30066 with Sr. Pastor Mark Beatty officiating. A time of gathering with family and friends will be held after the service, with a catered reception at the church.
