Mr. John A. Williams, 89 of Marietta died Saturday, October 9, 2010. Mr. Williams was a U.S. Army veteran serving during WWII. He retired from Lockheed Martin after 30 years of service as a flight test engineer. Mr. Williams is survived by his sons, John Williams Jr., Ed Williams and Charlie Williams; daughters, Debbie Cutts and Vicki Williams; brother, Curtis “ Buddy” Williams; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at H.M. Patterson and Son, Canton Hill Chapel. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Atlanta. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Atlanta Union Mission or MUST Ministries.
