John Alfred LaFollette Sr.

John Alfred LaFollette, Sr. was born in Knoxville, TN on November 26, 1932. He married Frances Lorene Sliger on March 12, 1951, in Knoxville, TN. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the U. S. Army and was owner operator of A1 Glass in Austell for the last 18 years.

He quietly departed this life at home in Douglasville, GA on Thursday, December 5, 2019. His beautiful life will forever be cherished by his daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by, his father, Filmore Alfred LaFollette, mother, Debbie Elzorie Sutton Lafollette, son, John LaFollette, Jr. and grandson, Michael LaFollette.

He is survived by his, daughter Diane Fowler, granddaughter Laurie (Randy) Harris, grandson Charley (Sommer) Daniel, granddaughter Kristy (Ryan) Killingsworth, grandson Josh LaFollette, grandson Johnny LaFollette, grandson Terrill Landers and granddaughter Tory LaFollette, as well as 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 o'clock, Sunday, December 8th, 2019, at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, Georgia, 30060. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 o'clock, in the Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery with the U. S. Army providing military honors.

In the last gift of love to Mr.Lafollette the following Grandsons, will serve as Pallbearers: Charley Daniel, Josh LaFollette, Randy Harris, Tristen Harris, Ryan Killingsworth, and Todd McElroy.
