Thomas Johnson Barron “John”, 25, of Roswell, Georgia passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, January 30th 2023. John was born March 3, 1997 in Pensacola, Florida and grew up in Roswell, Georgia. He graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.B.A in Finance. John graduated from Lassiter High School where he made many lifelong friends.
John was working diligently in preparation for his second-round interview and case study presentation scheduled for Wednesday. He was so excited and hopeful about the possibilities that awaited him in starting his career. He was incredibly smart, and his natural mathematical abilities would have taken him far.
John enjoyed lifting weights and being in top physical condition. He was a naturally gifted athlete and his agility and grace were beautiful to watch. He could run like the wind and could accelerate to a totally different gear that was impressive to witness. When John danced, his body felt the music, and his body naturally flowed with the rhythm.
John could always be found wearing his favorite Georgia Tech sweatshirts and time worn white Nike ball cap. Whenever there was a cause to support, whether John knew the people or not, John lovingly wore his many bracelets and refused to take them off.
John was never a man of many words, but he was listening and observing and was quick to comfort his friends with the perfect words. He was always checking on the people around him and cared about everyone’s life. He was born with a sensitive little soul and a gentle sweetness. He was extremely selfless and would even offer to share his candy as a tiny little boy or share his amazingly delicious hamburger so that everyone could share in his delight. Small children gravitated to John like a magnet, which earned the nickname, “The Pied Piper”.
John was always open-minded about participating in anything goofy and not the least bit concerned about being embarrassed. He willingly let his big sister dress him up and teach him dance routines. He did not hesitate to take the dare to wear a Scooby Doo outfit to the World Series and proudly displayed his team support on the jumbotron. His laughter was contagious with its many different versions and brought joy to those lucky enough to hear it.
He was adored as the baby of the family. He looked up to his big brother, Billy, eagerly taking over his room when he went to college. When coming home as a newborn, Blair greeted him with an Oosy Doosy and asked if she could return him for a girl. He was his mother’s “little fella” with the dazzling smile. He was his dad’s “Johnny Pots”. He was Phin’s “Brudda John”, and Papa’s, “Carbone”. He loved his sweet dog, Kodak, who brought him much comfort with her fur ladened hugs.
John is survived by his parents, Laura and Tom Barron, a brother, Billy Barron, a sister, Blair and her husband, Bryan and nephew, Barrett Bernier of Roswell, Georgia, and grandfather, Billups P. Johnson, Jr. of Albany, Georgia.
