Jeremy White

Jeremy Edward White, age 30, of Marietta, GA, passed away January 21, 2016 following a brief illness. He is survived by his mother, Karen Mortensen White; brothers Jamie and Jody White, all of Marietta. He was preceded in death by his father, John E. White; grandparents James and Lucy White of Hartwell, GA; grandfather, Fred Mortensen of Newnan, GA, formally of Denmark. Other survivors include his grandmother, Merilyn Mortensen of Newnan, GA; great aunt Helen Mitchell of Conyers, GA; aunts Lisa Thompson, Wendy Mortensen, Chere Mortensen; uncles Fred Mortensen, Paul Smith and C. Wesley Thompson, Jr. The family wishes to thank his cousin, Skylar Mortensen of Newnan and Jeff and Sharon Cook of Marietta for continued love and support through the years. Sincere thanks to all GCSS staff who worked with and cared for Jeremy over a span of many years. Jeremy attended Marietta Enrichment Center and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta. A service will be held in Jeremy’s honor at 3:30 Sunday, January, 24 at Eastside Baptist Church. The family will receive guests from 2:00-3:00pm prior to the service.
