Irma Holland Weaver

She was the daughter of Thomas Wyatt (Buddy) and Belle Jones Holland of Dallas, GA. Graduated in 1943 from Dallas High School in Paulding County, GA.

Irma worked as clerk for Marietta Post Office from 1943 until 1963, and later worked for Rich's Department store in the office.

She was first married to William (Bill) Martin Weaver for 54 years. After Bill's death in 2005, she married William (Bill) A Cheatham of Acworth GA in 2007. They were married for 10 years.

Irma is preceded in death by both husbands, son Mark Holland Weaver, her parents, 12 brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by son Gregory Martin Weaver and grand-daughter Anna-Maria Weaver and grand-dog Oakley. She was also honorary mother to Colonel Warren Anderson, Scott Davis and Glenn Terry.

She was a member of the Friendship class at Smyrna First United Methodist Church.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Smyrna First United Methodist Church with a reception to follow. Interment will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park at 2 pm on Friday, July 19, 2024. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Thursday, July 18, 2024 and from 9-10 am Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna.
