Ester Irene McFerrin O’Hare Raines, 89, of Calhoun, GA, passed away October 21, 2020. She was born May 6, 1931 in Searles, AL to Gus and Ira McFerrin. Irene was married to John P. O’Hare, Jr. until his passing then married Roy Raines. Irene is survived by: son John O’Hare (wife Kathy, grandchildren Ashley Murphy (husband Jerry, children Austin, Keith, J.D., Nathen & Lacie); Allison O’Hare (children Tanner and Hanna Sewell); and John (wife Christie, children Olivia, Micah, Malachi, Riley and Maddox); daughter Patricia O’Hare Howell; and son Steve O’Hare (wife Janet, children Stephanie and Johnathon)). She is also survived by niece Lisa Richards Madderra (husband John, children Joshua and Casey), niece Susan McFerrin Sconyers (husband Gary), and nephew Jay McFerrin (wife Kim, children Wade and Stephanie). She is preceded in death by her husbands John and Roy, parents, sister Elva Jean Richards and brother Harold McFerrin.
