Charles "Chuck" Austin

He was a native of Atlanta and a longtime resident of Marietta. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy having served in WWII and Korea. Mr. Austin was retired from Lockheed Martin with 25 years of service and was a member of LRMA.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gina Austin.

Survived by “the love of his life” Virginia Adams; son, Jerry and Becky Austin; daughter, Judy Austin; grandchildren, Evan Butler and Lea Schug; two great grandchildren; devoted extended family; Renee and John Bissell, Brad Adams, Spencer and Conner Bissell.

Memorial services will be held Monday August 6 at 11 AM in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Hall officiating. Inurnment will follow at 3 PM at Georgia National Cemetery with the U. S. Navy providing Military Honors.

The family will receive friends between the hour of 10 until 11 AM Monday at the funeral home.
