Mrs. Carolyn Petty Grant, age 91, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. She was born and lived most of her life in Atlanta, Georgia. She had resided in Florida for the past few years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her heart was full of love for her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Payton David Petty and Clara Violet Scoggins Petty; stepmother, Pearl Petty; husband, Robert Douglas Grant, Sr.; siblings, Pat Petty, Phillip Petty, Daryl Petty, Dennis Petty and Eddie Petty.
Survived by her children, Cynthia Grant Lewis, Robert Douglas Grant, Jr., Anne Grant Rowell and her husband, Dennis, Blaine Keith Grant, Tony Eric Grant, Judy Petty Chester and her husband, Cecil, Ronnie Petty, Jerry Petty and his wife, Carole and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 23 at 3 PM at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta with Chaplin Judd Henley officiating.
