A loving woman who always took care of her family. She had a big heart and always put others above herself to make sure everyone was taken care of. Rest In Peace sweet soul. ♥️

Happy Birthday Mom - We love you and miss you. 

When she had become a grandmother of many, I gave my dear cousin Caroline the nickname "Matey" (perhaps known only to the two of us).  It was in recognition of her status as the matriarch of the Haskin Family. 
Who would have thought that little Cline would become Matey?  The little girl who at one of the Brynjolfsson extended family gatherings (not sure whether it was Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter but there is no doubt it was at the Johnson's home on Center Street in Bensenville, Illinois).
It was the era of 8 millimeter home movies.  The extended family as a group had purchased the camera and projector.  It recorded those lovely family gatherings.  The plan was for each of the "nuclear" families to be filmed separately (Asgeirsons, Johnsons, Hallbecks and Brynjolfssons x 2).
Miraculously, each of the families wound up having one more member than expected.  Little Cline (age 5?) injected herself into each of the groups regardless of the fact that their name was not Asgeirson.   From that moment on, we should never have doubted that Cline would eventually become a matriarch.
Rest in peace, dear Cousin Matey.




Caroline loved her family above all and when I married her baby sister I became part of that family and thus received her unconditional love.  I have fond memories of our morning coffee talks. Many will carry your mission forward beginning with your kids.  I’ll miss you, finding comfort in the part of you that lives on in Amy. ❤️

Love this picture of my Mom as a little girl. The story goes she couldn't say Caroline so she called herself Ca-line which became Cline. It was her nickname from toddler-hood on....

We loved sweet Caroline and like Big Jim, she was such an important part of so many lives.  Her legacy will live on with her very successful children and their children, all the while she smiles down from Heaven watching it all.
