Brad was born in Buffalo, New York on March 23, 1982. He attended Hamburg High School where he was a member of the lacrosse team. After graduating from Niagara University with a degree in Finance, Brad moved to Atlanta where he met Abby Marie Smith whom he married in 2014. Brad and Abby welcomed their son Noah David into the world in 2016.
In fatherhood, Brad shined. His son Noah was born with Down syndrome and Brad passionately advocated for Down syndrome awareness. On weekends Brad was often found building the latest toy for Noah in the backyard and taking him to baseball games.
Brad was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, and by marriage, a fan of the Auburn Tigers. He loved Volkswagen cars and classic rock and spending time with his family, friends and his canine son, Hank, a Boston Terrier.
In addition to Abby and Noah, Brad is survived by his parents John Forness Sr. and Debra Forness of Boston, NY; his brother John Forness Jr. and sister-in-law Jessica of McDonough, GA; his grandparents Robert and Lori Forness, David Smith and Isabelle Schmitt; his nephew Collin Andrews (Kaitlyn Hine) and niece Adrianna Forness; his grand-niece Delaney Andrews and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Brad is preceded in death by his grandmothers Ruth (Charles) Breslin and Shirley (Joseph) Rosiek.
