Betty Rogers Wallace, age 94 of Smyrna, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024. Funeral service will be 11 AM Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Tom Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Wallace was born in Rome, Georgia and was a member of Spring Street Baptist Church. She was retired from the U.S Forest Service.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by her children Daniel Marvin Wallace of Conyers, William Donald Wallace of Dallas, Jonathan Mitchell Wallace of Smyrna, and Gwendolyn “Gwen” Wallace of Marietta; sister Mary Rose of Jacksonville, NC; grandchildren Robert Massingill, Kerri DeWitte, Brittney Wallace, Brandon Wallace, and Savannah Wallace; great grandchildren Jessica Hawley, Samantha Massingill, William Massingill, Michael Shaver, Jacob Shaver, Wyatt Hill, and Elijah Wallace; and great-great grandchildren David Hawley and Emilia Shaver.
The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 4 until 7 PM.
