Betty Jean Pruitt, age 83, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Jackie Sanders officiating. Born in Cullman, Alabama, Mrs. Pruitt lived in Smyrna, GA for many years before moving to Dallas, GA 12 years ago. She worked for Sears & Roebuck before becoming a caretaker later in life. She was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed thrift shopping and spending time with her family. Survivors include: Husband since 1957, Benny L. Pruitt; 3 Children, Greg (Rhonda) Pruitt, Rockmart, GA, Phillip Pruitt, Dallas, GA, and Randy (Kristy) Pruitt, Acworth, GA; Brother, Roger (Aurea) Sanders, Hiram, GA; Sister, Jo Reynolds, Dallas, GA; 4 Grandchildren, Matthew Pruitt, Summer Pruitt, Heather Carr, and Christina Pruitt, and many Great Grandchildren.
