Arthur Glenn Terrell

Mr. Arthur Glenn Terrell, 88, died, Sunday, August 7th, 2016. In 1949, he married the late Annie Sue Millirons Terrell, who was the special love of his life. Throughout his life, Mr. Terrell maintained his faith as a member of the Southern Baptist. In his early years, he served as a Traveling Minister and as a congregation Minister. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy, from 1945 - 1948. Mr. Terrell had a great fondness for sports; getting to see the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons play. He is survived by; daughter, Carol McNealy; son and daughter in law, Charlie and Dorothy Terrell; daughters, Glenda Terrell and Mary White; daughter and son in laws, Janice & Ken Register and Michelle & Marty McCoy; son and daughter in law, Mark and Maryland Terrell; 16 Grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Terrell; brothers, Donnie (Crossville, IL.) & Bob ( St. Louise, IL) Terrell. The family will receive friends August 10th, 2016, Wednesday evening, at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, Georgia, 30060. Funeral services to celebrate Mr. Terrell’s life, will be held at 1:00 pm; Thursday, August 11th, 2016, in the Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment, with US Navy burial honors, will follow the service.
