Marie Therese Jeanniton

With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and cherished matriarch, Mommy, who entered her eternal rest on November 8th, 2024, the age of 91.

A woman of unwavering faith, Mommy dedicated her life to serving her Lord and her family. Her first love was always Jesus Christ, and she lived every day with a heart full of grace, kindness, and compassion. Her deep and abiding faith was not just a part of her life—it was the foundation upon which she built everything. She prayed fervently and faithfully, never failing to lift up each of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and every member of her family in prayer every single night.

Mommy exemplified the fruits of the Spirit in every aspect of her life—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Her actions, words, and prayers were a constant reminder of God’s love and grace. She lived a life full of wisdom and devotion, offering a listening ear, a word of encouragement, and a loving embrace to anyone in need.

Her strength was evident in her quiet yet powerful presence. She endured life's challenges with grace and resilience, always trusting in God’s plan and never wavering in her faith. Her legacy of love, prayer, and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was the youngest out of six siblings, 2 brothers and 3 sisters, all deceased, of the Jeanniton family. Daughter of Cathrine Douyon and Felix Jeanniton.

Mommy was a devoted mother to Evys Theodore (deceased); Jacques Theodore; Jerry Theodore; Daniel Theodore; Lodz Theodore; Herve Metellus, a proud grandmother to Kinndy Rodriguez; Moise Dabel; David Theodore; Ashley Theodore; Melissa S Theodore; Christian Theodore; Marie Danielle Theodore; Vanessa Theodore; Valencia Theodore (deceased); Terry Theodore; Kathleen Makinde; Christine Metellus; Melissa Denise Theodore; Evan Metellus; Ethan Metellus; Daethan Theodore; Dylan Metellus; Matthew Metellus; Hersain Metellus, a proud great grandmother to Johnessa Jean; Kendra Beauplan; Jose Luis Rodriguez II; Michael Wayne Rodriguez; Christian Raphael Rodriguez; Zion Makinde; Kairo Makinde; Aylan Rael Theodore; Raphael Lucas Theodore; and a cherished friend to many. Her warmth, gentleness, and unwavering faith will be missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire us all.

Though we mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of the Savior she so faithfully served. We are confident that her prayers for us continue in heaven, and we look forward to the day when we will be reunited in His perfect peace.

In lieu of flowers, and per mommy's request we ask that donations be made to Our Lady Queen of Heaven, in Marie Therese Jeanniton's memory.

A mass to celebrate her life will be held on November 18th, 2024 at 11 am at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, where we will honor the beautiful woman who touched so many lives with her love and her prayers.

Rest in peace, dear Mommy, and thank you for showing us what it means to live a life of faith, love, and service. You will be forever in our hearts.
