Kathy was born April 16, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Frank and Ruth Mack. After graduating from Withrow High School, Kathy held various jobs until she relocated to Long Island, New York where she attended Adelphi University and graduated with a BA in Business Administration. In addition, Kathy also served 6 years in the Navy Reserve.
In 1993, Kathy met John Tummings and they were married on July 5, 1998. After residing in Freeport, New York for seven years, the happy couple relocated to Coral Springs, Florida, in September 2005.
Kathy was considered by her peers to be an excellent communicator, who was extremely resilient and incredibly passionate about her work as a Claims Adjuster. After working for various insurance companies, she spent the last 21 years as a Nationwide Claims investigator, both in New York and Florida. Kathy was recognized among her colleagues to be an exceptional writer and negotiator. However, she was mostly appreciated for always having the ability to share solutions that resulted in a win, win situation for everyone she helped.
Kathy loved to travel and had a passion for cruising. Together with her beloved husband John, Kathy has sailed throughout the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe and South and Central America. But her greatest passion and love was Truffle, her Yorkie.
Kathy was a giving, caring and a selfless person who you could always count on. She is survived by her husband John, children Alana Nash, Thomasena Nash. Brother Franklin Mack. Loving god-daughter Tonya, good friends Ann Lecky and Arnice Daniels as well as extended family and friends.
