Bob was preceded in death by his parents David and Christine, his brother David, his wife Barbara and his sister Virginia. He is survived by his son Brian Volz, granddaughter Brianna Volz, brother Jack and his wife Marilyn, and several nieces and nephews. Bob is also survived by his companion of 14 years, Cecile Caruso, as well as Tom, Andi, Tommy and Nico Caruso; Michael and Buffy Caruso; and many loving and caring friends.
Bobby, as he liked to be called, was born in Trenton, New Jersey and moved to Morrisville, Pennsylvania where he was raised. Bobby and his loving companion Cecile spent the last 14 years traveling and going on road trips whenever possible. For the last 8 of those 14 years they resided in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Bob was an avid sports enthusiast and had a mind full of sports trivia to rival anyone. Bobby’s two loves were Penn State University athletics and golf. He spent the last summer of his life as a caddie at Shooting Star Golf and Ski Resort in Jackson, Wyoming, where he was loved by many. He was also a devoted supporter of Tommy and Nico’s hockey and soccer practices and games and encouraged them to play his beloved golf. He could always be counted on to pitch in when needed to watch the “boys.” He and Cecile looked forward to their road trips to Littleton, Colorado to spend time with Michael and Buffy and their puppies.
Bobby loved his friends and family with a passion, especially Madeline and Jim Zozzaro, Normand Berard, his dear Friends of Bill and his Riverside Club pals.
