Patti Coyle passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2021. She is survived by Tim Coyle, her husband of 22 years and her children Shamus (16) and Shannon (14), her three sisters, as well as her nieces and nephews, in-laws and godchildren.
Patti graduated from Fairport High School in Fairport, NY (1988) and received her Bachelor's degree in communication from the University of Buffalo, as well as a Dual Master's Degree in Education/Special Education from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. She was an Elementary school teacher in the Greece (NY), Fairport (NY), and Collier County (FL) School Districts during her 25 year teaching career.
Patti was a resident of Marco Island for 15 years, dedicating that time to raising a family and ingraining herself in the island lifestyle while not in the classroom. She was active in her community by helping in clubs and organizations including the Optimist club and the Girl Scouts. Patti loved spending time with the family exploring zoos, gardens and amusement parks, as well as pizza night and movie nights at home.
Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass for Patti Coyle on November 11, 2021 at 5:00 PM at St. Mark's Episcopal Church located at 1101 North Collier Boulevard, Marco Island, FL 34145. The family requests casual dress in bright colors for the service.
