Dana William Miller

Dana "Mike" William Miller, age 93, of Marco Island, Florida passed away peacefully on September 8, 2023. Mike was born to Dana King and Thomasine McCloy (Rook) Miller on July 27, 1930 in Enfield, Connecticut.

Upon completion of school, Mike ventured into the automotive dealership industry. Well regarded by his peers for his commitment to service and his candor, Mike enjoyed success when he established the Enfield Chrysler Plymouth in Enfield, Connecticut.

Along with his wife Susan McKenzie, Mike enjoyed many passions throughout his life, including golfing, hunting, fishing, boating, traveling, skeet and NASCAR Racing.

Mike began visiting Marco Island, Florida in the early 1970's when the Island was first being established. Upon his retirement, Mike relocated full time to Marco Island where he and Susan were able to enjoy their many hobbies. During their time living on Marco Island they made many close friends and always looked forward to dinner and dominoes with their "Cheap Chicken" friends.

Mike is survived by his daughter Linda Gale Miller; stepson Garrett J. McKenzie and stepdaughter Lynda McKenzie Gardock (Peter Gardocki); grandchildren Theresa Catherine McKenzie Moses (Scott Moses), Sara Beth Gardocki Arancio (Joseph Arancio), Ann Marie McKenzie, Christopher Garrett McKenzie (Dr. Ericka Maximous), Katie Lynn Gardocki, and Great Grandchildren, Thomas Scott Moses and Alice Moses.
