I admired Barbara for her friendliness, healthy life style, & helpfulness to others. She will be missed by many here at Riverside.

To All the Luchs & Extended Family,

     Our hearts our heavy with your loss.  Barbara, your Mom, was a very special person. Radke Road would never have been the special place it was without her, your Dad and your entire family.  I am so very thankful I had the opportunity to grow up next door to such a magnificent family and much of that was due to your Mom and Dad.  They were just great people, funny, caring, engaging, and raised such a wonderful group of kids that helped mold so many of the neighbors.  I know my family and Mom and Dad enjoyed all the time we shared with all the Luchs from street ball, to ice hockey, swimming, flashlight tag, tennis, chess, cards, etc. etc.  none of this possible without your amazing parents. To grow up with your family and our parents was a true blessing  I thank your Mom and Dad for that opportunity  it was life changing.  God Bless both your Mom and Dad they were amazing parents, neighbors and Americans.

     I loved the pictures posted on this website and it just reminded me of the many good times our families had and how much your Mom and Dad influenced the good and positives in all our families. Just in seeing the Luch family pictures you can clearly see the influence your Mom and Dad had on everyone down to the youngest grandchild in both looks, personality, and energy for living a good life.  The legacy of both your Mom and Dad will carry on for so many future generations  that is good to know.

     David, Sally, Nancy, Marianne, Carol please know it is with the deepest sympathy that our prayers and thoughts go out to each of you and your families.  I know your Mom is now again with your Dad and heaven is a better place with them in it together.  We were so glad all the Connollys had the opportunity to visit with your Mom last Thanksgiving Holiday.  She was just a remarkable woman full of energy and life and a beautiful smile and that is how we will always remember her.  We will say a prayer for all of you.  

     I am glad my brother Bob and Rita will represent the family at the funeral and I know my Mom and Sue would want be there if they could  we will be there in spirit.  Peace be with your Mom.

Sad as I am I was just giggling at the pictures, they are so Barbara.  We here at Riverside and especially our Bridge Group will miss her so so much.  she was such a good friend.  I am so glad that Cindy or Susie told her to put her hat back so we'd be able to see her face.  What a blessing to look like that at a Luncheon on  the day you die.
