Joy Ward

Born in Marblehead, she was a lifelong resident of the town. She was a graduate of Marblehead High School, Lasell College, Acadamie Moderne, and Lee Institute for Real Estate.

She was employed for a number of years by the Boston law firm of Hale and Dorr and for a time at KPIX-TV San Francisco, CBS and ABC in New York, working in recent years as a legal assistant in Marblehead as well as for AP Conventions in Boston.

She leaves many cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Dr. Arland A. Dirlam Chapel in Waterside Cemetery, 294 West Shore Drive, Marblehead on Saturday, June 11 at 11AM. Burial to follow the service. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joy’s memory to the Marblehead Animal Shelter, 44Village Street, Marblehead, MA 01945.
