Barbara "Janie" Weeks

She is survived by her son Benny Weeks of Arlington, Texas; daughters Norma Jones of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Martha Weeks of Marble Falls, Texas; brothers, Cameron Warren of May, Texas, and Gary Warren of Georgetown, Texas; sister , Zoe Forrester of Kempner, Texas. Janie is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Janie is preceded in death by her husband Orville and parents, Carlos and Zula Warren.

Janie served as a loving wife to her husband of sixty-four years and a loving mother and homemaker to her children. She loved visiting with her children and grandchildren as often as possible. Because of her love and faithfulness to God, she volunteered in her church as a teacher and as an office helper. She helped with visitations and choir. She also faithfully sent birthday, get well, and condolence cards to members.

She enjoyed painting, needlework, journaling, gardening, and traveling all around the United States.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 19, 2014, at The First Baptist Church of Granite Shoals, TX.
