Warren A. "Bear" Warner, 64, passed away Thursday evening, October 18, 2018, at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born August 11, 1954, in Ashland, Ohio, to Earl L. and Catharine (Shreve) Warner.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Warren worked as a Stationary Engineer at the Cleveland Clinic. A man of strong Christian values, he attended Faith Memorial Assembly of God Church in Sandusky where he played in the Praise Band. He was also a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association Band. An outdoor enthusiast, Warren enjoyed sailing, golfing and riding motorcycles. He was a former commander of the Mansfield Power Squadron in 1992. Photography was another passion and he leaves many wonderful photos of his adventures for his family and friends to cherish.
Warren is survived by his wife, Lisa McMillan Warner; two sisters, Kathy Warner and Karen (Rex) Krichbaum, both of Ashland; and numerous nieces and nephews who referred to him as "Uncle Bear". He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2018, at New Life Community Church, 1489 State Route 511, Ashland, Ohio. A memorial service will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Kenneth L. Hiser of Faith Memorial Assembly of God officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of the family and are greatly appreciated.
