Sara Rebecca Zeigler

Sara Rebecca Zeigler, 79 of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on October 31, 1943 to the late William Wilson and Sarah Barnes.

Sara worked as an RN at Ashland Samaritan Hospital and was a delivery nurse. She enjoyed being creative and was very active with her art work. She loved visiting the Mansfield Art Gallery. She also loved to spend time with her family, especially grandchildren.

Sara is survived by her husband, Stanley Zeigler; children, Donald (Lori) Zeigler and Beth (Michael) Shaughnessy; brother, Bob Thomas; grandchildren, Connor Shaughnessy, Caitlyn (Joshua) Fallon, Colton (Megan) Zeigler, Corey Strassell and Morgan Zeigler; and great-grandchildren, Scarlet Fallon and Bryson McDonald.

Sara’s father, William, passed away while serving overseas when she was little. In addition to her father, Sara was also preceded in death by her mother, Sarah and Robert Thomas, who became a father figure to her at a young age and whom she loved dearly.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Mansfield Memorial Park. Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Wappner is honored to serve the family.
