Russell Hamrick

Born August 9, 1963 in Cleveland, he was the son of Roger L. and Karen (Stotzer) Hamrick. He was a graduate of Franklin University with degrees in electrical engineering and computer science and was a veteran of the Air National Guard.

He is survived by his brothers, Randy (Janet) Hamrick of Ontario and Eric Hamrick of West Palm Beach, FL; sister, Michele (Nathan) Lowery of Ashland; nieces and nephews, Adam, Josh, Haley, and Brady; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friend, Dave Bender. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunts, Gloria Hamrick and Brenda Hartzog.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Ontario, conducted by Rev. Ed Patterson. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Military services conducted by the Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Squad will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
