She was born January 23, 1934, to William and Martha Stack. Rose attended House of Prayer Church for several years. Being the true prayer warrior, there was no time of day or night you couldn’t call upon Rose when you were in need of a prayer. She was more than happy to do just that. Rose loved shopping and going out to eat. Finding a good deal at Macy’s was always on the agenda.
Rose married her “Hero”, Billy Q. McCabe, on November 16, 1950. Together they made their home in Mansfield, Ohio, raising three children together. She was a hard worker doing anything from supervisory jobs of cleaning to cafeteria worker at Mansfield City Schools. She retired from Mansfield City Schools. Not only was Rose a devout Christian, she was a amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her wonderful prayers, awesome desserts and hearty laugh will remain for all to remember and cherish.
Left to keep memories of Rose forever in their hearts are her son, Timothy (Donna) McCabe; daughter-in-law, Debbie McCabe; five grandchildren, Christopher McCabe, Heather Vanselow, Jason (Natalie) Conard, Brandi McCabe, and Taylor (Clement) Robinson; seventeen great-grandchildren; and very near and dear friend, Deborah Haverdick.
Preceding her in death are her husband of 71 years, Billy Q. McCabe; only daughter, Judith Marie Conard; oldest son, Billy Lee McCabe; numerous brothers; one sister; and her parents.
