Opal P. Andrews, 97, of Mansfield, died Tuesday morning, January 13, 2004, at Woodlawn Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born September 30, 1906, in Butler, Ohio, to Sherman and Pearl Franks Reed. Opal was an area homemaker all her life.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Ora Tarris of Lucas; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a brother, Donald Reed of Ashland; and a sister, Virginia Martin of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Andrews in 1978; parents; two daughters; and seven brothers and sisters, Walter, Lawrence, Earl, Doyel, David and Virgil Reed, and Lillian Williams.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Caesarea Cemetery.
