Michael Walter Roy Rock, 29, of Mansfield passed away unexpectedly at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital on Monday, January 8, 2018. He was born on January 12, 1988 in Shelby, Ohio to Michael Earl and Charlene (Robinson) Rock.
Michael was a quiet man who was loved by everyone but enjoyed his solitude and alone time. He was a lover of computers and video games, tinkering, roses, and was a great mechanic. His favorite food was Chinese, especially General Tso chicken. He loved to hunt and was a member of the Ohio Big Bucks Club. He valued time spent with his son, and they enjoyed sharing snacks together.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Charlene Rock; brother, Sean Rock; sister, Kristy (Jesse) Stimen; son, Trevor Rock; maternal grandfather, Walter Robinson; the mother of his children, Toni Akans; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Sophia Rock; and grandmother, Nellie Robinson.
At this time, no services will be observed. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the Rock family.
