Michael Lawson Sr. passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020. He was born in Berea, Ohio on July 18, 1960. Mike graduated in 1978 from Black River. He was a life long fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a member of Sons of American Legion in Wellington.
He is survived by his sons, Michael (Jennifer) Lawson Jr., and Joshua Lawson; his brothers, John (Terri) Lawson and Tom (Remy) Lawson; and his sisters, Deborah (Jerry) Linden and Linda (Paul) Kaiser. He was preceded in death by his father, John Lawson; his mother, Blanche (Johnson) Lawson; a brother, Roger Dale Lawson; nephew, Eddie Drake; and niece, Stephanie Nichols.
There will be no services observed. The Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the Lawson family.
